How to Install

Knife Holder — Method 1: Adhesive (No-Drill)

Best for:

  • Smooth surfaces: tiles, stainless steel, glass, sealed stone, painted drywall
  • Note: surface must be completely flat, not textured.

Steps:

1. Clean the surface with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely.

2. Peel the protective film and stick the adhesive pads to the back of the knife bar.

3. Peel the second protective layer. Press the knife bar firmly against the wall for 30-60 seconds.

4. Leave undisturbed for 24 hours before placing any knives on it.

Knife Holder — Method 2: Screw

Best for:

  • Heavy daily use
  • Textured, uneven or porous walls
  • Anyone wanting a permanent mount

Steps:

1. Hold the knife bar against the wall and mark your position.

2. Drill at the marked points using the included screws and wall plugs.

3. Insert the screws leaving a small gap, then hang the bar.

Chopping Board — First Use

Wash with warm soapy water and dry completely. Apply a generous coat of the included board oil. Leave overnight on the board stand then wipe off the excess.

How to Remove

Knife Holder — Adhesive Removal

1. Warm the adhesive:
Use a hairdryer on medium heat for 1-2 minutes. Point it at the edges of the holder.

2. Cut the bond:
Slide dental floss or fishing line behind the knife bar and gently saw through the adhesive, moving along the full length.

3. Final clean:
Use isopropyl alcohol and a plastic scraper to remove any residue from the wall.

Do not pull the holder straight off the wall.

FAQ

Do both products ship together?
No — some items are shipped from our warehouse in Sydney, others from Melbourne.

What surfaces does the knife holder work on?
Tile, plaster, stone, painted walls, and glass splashbacks — including mirrored splash-backs. Clean with isopropyl alcohol before installing.

Will the adhesive damage my tiles?
Not if you follow the removal steps. Warm the adhesive with a hairdryer, cut the bond with dental floss or fishing line. Don't pull it straight off the wall.

Can I get extra adhesive strips if I move house?
Yes — email support@veur.com.au and we'll sort you out.

What's the best way to clean the chopping board?
Hand wash with warm, soapy water. Never submerge it or put it in the dishwasher.

How do I keep the board in peak condition?
Dry upright after washing. Apply food-grade mineral oil once a month or whenever it looks dry or dull. The oil is included in the bundle.

How do I remove stains?
Sprinkle coarse salt or baking soda and scrub with lemon juice. Wipe clean and re-oil if needed.

How do I get rid of knife marks?
End-grain timber minimises marks — the blade slides between the fibres rather than across them. If marks build up, sand lightly and re-oil.

Can I buy these products individually?
Yes — all products are available separately in the store.
